Buy this camera

If you’re looking for a 16 mm subminiature camera in pristine condition, buy my Minolta-16 II. The 48-year-old f/2.8 Rokkor lens is exceptional. Here’s more Minolta-16 II.

See you at WordCamp NY

I bought my ticket this morning for WordCamp New York 2008, scheduled for 10:00 am on October 5, 2008. This will be good. I attended the WordPress New York Meetup just once. I enjoyed the social aspects. Meeting folks is nice. But I also like—nay, I need—structure.

There still isn’t a preliminary schedule available, but the venue has been confirmed: one of Sun Microsystems office’s in Midtown. Convenient. Unsure of what WordCamp actually was, I read Jeff’s appropriately titled post, What is WordCamp?

I’m looking forward to it.

Democratic Party as Ouroboros

I strongly suspect this November will be McCain v. Obama. Yet the Democratic Party has a problem: too many people are voting for Clinton and not enough for Obama. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be suspecting.

Sitting but tired

Yesterday marked the 10th visit to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, by Scott. I anticipate more such anniversaries in the coming days.
